ICU Registered Nurse

Job Overview

• Location: Saint Marys, Ohio
• Employment type: Travel/Contract
• Start date: 9/14
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Night, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
• Schedule: 3x12 hours
• Hours per week: 36
• Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
• Floating: Required to ICU and stepdown as needed
• Locals: Not accepted within 50 miles
• First-time travelers: Accepted
• Block scheduling: May be discussed during interview

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Ohio
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• PALS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Stepdown experience

Compliance and Onboarding

• Criminal background check required within 6 months of start
• EPLS/GSA/SAM required
• HHS/OIG required
• Fingerprinting required within 6 months of start and updated annually
• Pre-employment physical required within 30 days of start
• Negative 10-panel drug screen required within 30 days of start
• TB screening required
• Flu vaccination required during flu season, with medical or religious exemption process available
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption required
• Tdap required within 10 years of start
• Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B documentation required
• Skills checklist required annually
• Competency exam and medication/pharmacology competency exam required
• Photo for badge required
• Confidentiality statement required
• Orientation safety manual acknowledgement required annually
