Occupational Therapist

Job Overview

  • Specialty: Therapy/Rehabilitation
  • Location: Taos, New Mexico
  • Employment type: Travel/Contract
  • Shift: Day, 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
  • Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license in New Mexico
  • BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Required Health and Compliance Items

  • Background check required, including a 7-year criminal check and review of all locations lived/worked in the past 7 years
  • Physical exam within 12 months of start
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
  • Tdap within the past 10 years
  • Measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella immunity documentation required
  • Hepatitis B documentation required
  • Drug screen required within 90 days of start
  • Flu vaccination or declination required during flu season
  • Fit testing completed onsite
  • Core competency exams required before start
  • Orientation and facility policy acknowledgements required before start

Certifications

  • BLS required
  • ACLS required as applicable
  • PALS required as applicable
  • NRP required as applicable
  • TNCC required as applicable

Additional Notes

  • 75-mile radius restriction applies
  • Photo ID must be carried on person during hours of service
  • COVID declination form is available if declining vaccination
