PT Inpatient Rehab
Overview
- Specialty: Therapy/Rehabilitation
- Location: Rio Rancho, New Mexico
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Shift: Day, 5x8 hours

- Contract length: 13 weeks
Schedule
- Workdays are either Monday–Friday or Tuesday–Saturday
- Weekend shifts required: 2 per month

- Level I Teaching facility
Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapist license in New Mexico
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association
Key Responsibilities / Clinical Focus
- Treats a mix of acute care, outpatient clinic, rehabilitation hospital, and SNF-related cases
- Common diagnoses include falls, CVA, trauma, pneumonia, orthopedic post-op cases, sepsis, UTI, respiratory failure, liver failure, kidney failure, and wounds
- Average caseload is 8 patients per day
Additional Notes
- No on-call
- No floating
- No block scheduling
- RTO over 7 days requires approval
- Guaranteed hours: 40 per week, with up to 3 call-offs during a 13-week assignment
- New contracts and extensions must be at least 10 weeks
- 6-month break required after 4 consecutive assignments or reaching 1 year, whichever comes first
