Overview

• Location: Melbourne, Florida
• Employment type: Travel/Contract
• Shift: Night, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
• Hours: 36 per week
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Patient ratio: 1:5
• Guaranteed hours: Contracted hours guaranteed

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Florida
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience with Epic

Schedule / Assignment Details

• Every other weekend required, or 6 weekend shifts per 6-week period depending on unit needs
• Floating required to other units or locations as needed
• Block scheduling cannot be guaranteed
• First-time travelers not accepted

Compliance / Pre-Start Requirements

• Flu vaccine required during flu season, with medical or religious exemption options
• Background check and fingerprint clearance must be completed before start
• Physical exam within 6 months before start
• Fit test required within 12 months before start
• Negative TB screening or chest X-ray required
• Drug screen required within 90 days before start
• Immunity documentation required for measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella
• Current application/resume required within 90 days of start

• On-call is not required
