Radiation Therapist
Job Overview
- Location: Arlington, Virginia
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
- Shift length: 8 hours
- Hours per week: 40
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Patient population: Adults and geriatrics
- Daily volume: 30–40 patients per day
- Start: As listed in the posting
Required Qualifications
- Valid Radiation Therapist license in Virginia
- Radiation Therapist (2 years of experience)
- Radiation Therapist experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ARRT (T)
- Experience with Varian TrueBeam Linear Accelerator
- Experience with CBCT/kV/mV imaging
- Experience with IMRT dosimetry systems
- Experience with Electron Beam Therapy
- Experience with Electron Field treatment
- Experience with Respiratory Gating/Breath Hold techniques for Left Breast treatment
- Experience with Heterotopic Bone treatment
- Experience with Superior Vena Cava treatment
- Experience with Gynecomastia treatment
- Experience with Prophylactic Treatments
Additional Notes
- First-time travelers are accepted
- Minimal time off requested
- Any scrub color is allowed
- Flu vaccination is required during flu season, unless an approved medical or religious exemption is in place
