Pathology Assistant
Location
- Grand Forks, North Dakota
Contract
- 13 weeks
- Contract position
- 40 hours per week
- 5 x 8-hour shifts
Required Qualifications
- Pathology Assistant (2 years of experience)
- Pathology Assistant experience within the last year
- ASCP
Preferred Experience
- Prior grossing experience
Role Summary
- Assists with surgical specimen and frozen section dissections under pathologist supervision
- Completes gross description dictation
- Supports quality assurance, quality control, instrument maintenance, troubleshooting, and other department duties
- Requires strong customer service and communication skills
