Job Overview

Location: Abilene, Texas
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Day, 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
Hours per week: 36
Contract length: 13 weeks
Unit notes: May include low-acuity ICU patients or high-acuity telemetry patients
Schedule notes: On call once every 6 weeks; 6 weekend shifts per 6-week period
Start timing: Preferred within the next 3–5 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Texas
Intermediate Care (2 years of experience)
Intermediate Care experience within the last year
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
BLS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Additional Requirements

Acknowledgement of Pass/Fail Testing
Pass/fail testing for EKG/medication
Color blind testing
NIH Stroke Certification if applicable
NRP if applicable
CHEMO if applicable
TNCC if applicable
EFM if applicable
ENPC if applicable
Tech Cert Verification - National within 30 days of start
State License 1 Verification within 30 days of start
TB questionnaire annually for Aya candidates
Annual update required for background check and fit mask
Modules required during orientation

Orientation / Onboarding Notes

Orientation modules take about 3–4 hours
Parking is available for orientation and employee parking after orientation at no fee
