RN - Emergency Department

Overview

Location: Clyde, North Carolina
Employment type: Travel
Contract length: 13 weeks
Weekly hours: 36
Orientation: Bi-weekly
Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
Call: None

Emergency department RN role
Patient mix includes geriatric and adult patients, with some pediatric patients
Typical cases include chest pain, abdominal pain, and psychiatric presentations
Patient ratio: 1:4

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Carolina
ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
1 year or more of total travel experience
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
BLS issued by American Heart Association
PALS issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS
CPI
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Additional Details

Self-scheduling is used
Navy blue scrubs are required
Minimum education noted: ADN
