RN - Med Surg

Job Overview

Location: Las Cruces, New Mexico
Employment type: Travel
Contract length: 13 weeks
Hours per week: 36
Patient ratio: 1:6
Weekend schedule: Every other weekend
Orientation: Weekly on Mondays
Travel eligibility: Candidates must live 60 miles or more from the facility to be considered travel

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New Mexico
Med Surg (2 years of experience)
Med Surg experience within the last year
BLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Compliance Notes

All clinical staff assigned in New Mexico must be fingerprinted before hire and provide documentation that the check is being processed
Travelers may start on a 14-day waiver while waiting for results, but must be supervised
Each agency must have an account with the New Mexico Department of Health before the background check process can begin
