Rehabilitation Therapist
Location
- Hilo, Hawaii

- Skilled Nursing Facility and/or Intermediate Care Facility
Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapist license in Hawaii
- Physical Therapist (2 years of experience)
- Physical Therapist experience within the last year
- BLS
Schedule
- Generally 5 days per week, likely including 1 weekend day
- Day shift
- May require floating to other units or facilities based on census and staffing needs
- Must be available to work Hawaii State and Federal Holidays as needed
Responsibilities
- Provide rehabilitation services
- Perform evaluations, reassessments, treatments, and other clinical services
- Develop, implement, or carry out individualized treatment plans
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions
- Educate residents, families, and caregivers
- Complete accurate, timely, and compliant documentation
- Supervise therapy assistants when applicable
Training / Onboarding
- Orientation to the rehabilitation department, EMR documentation, and facility workflows is provided
Start Requirement
- Must arrive the Thursday before start for an employee health appointment on Friday
