Registered Nurse — Med Surg/Telemetry

Location

Lexington, Kentucky

Schedule

3rd shift, 7p–7a
36 hours per week
12-hour shifts

Contract Length

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Kentucky
Med Surg / Telemetry (1 year of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
BLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

BSN
Previous nursing experience
EPIC experience

Role Summary

Provides direct patient care on the unit, including assessments, treatments, admissions, transfers, discharges, patient and family education, care coordination, and individualized treatment planning
Performs ongoing assessment, documents care, responds to changes in patient condition, and supports discharge planning
Participates in unit-based activities and quality improvement efforts
