Labor and Delivery RN

Overview

Location: Issaquah, Washington
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Night, 3x12 hours
Weekly hours: 36
Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Washington
Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
BLS issued by American Heart Association or Heart&Stroke
NRP
FHM
AWHONN Intermediate
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

ACLS

Role Details

Labor and preterm labor patient population
Unit includes 8 labor rooms and 4 triage rooms
Core responsibilities include circulating, OB-GYN, post-op, pre-op, scrub, low-risk antepartum, and low-risk labor and delivery
Procedures include blood and blood product administration, cardioversion/defibrillation, cooling/warming blanket use, drains, epidural pumps, PCA pumps, syringe pumps, wound vac, heparin, insulin, and magnesium sulfate
Experience with attending all deliveries, including high-risk deliveries
May float to postpartum and NICU based on skill set
Staffing ratio is 1:1–3

Additional Notes

Local candidates are paid at the same rate
Candidates from other Providence facilities outside Swedish may be eligible if separated for at least 3 months
