Mother-Baby / Couplet Care / Post Partum
Job Overview
- Travel/contract RN position in Issaquah, Washington
- Night shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
- 36 hours per week
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Valid RN license in Washington
- Post Partum (2 years of experience)
- Post Partum experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
Clinical Responsibilities
- Post-partum care for vaginal and cesarean deliveries
- Care for tubal ligation and circumcision cases
- GYN surgery and post-op care
- Couplet care, low-risk antepartum, and transition nursery care
- Newborn care, including thermoregulation and glucose management
- Administration of blood and blood products
- Management of drains, epidural pumps, PCA pumps, syringe pumps, wound vacs, heparin, insulin, and magnesium sulfate
Scheduling and Work Expectations
- Floating may be required to NICU or L&D
- Weekends are required to meet staffing needs
