Mother-Baby / Couplet Care / Post Partum

Job Overview

Travel/contract RN position in Issaquah, Washington
Night shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
36 hours per week
Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Valid RN license in Washington
Post Partum (2 years of experience)
Post Partum experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure

Clinical Responsibilities

Post-partum care for vaginal and cesarean deliveries
Care for tubal ligation and circumcision cases
GYN surgery and post-op care
Couplet care, low-risk antepartum, and transition nursery care
Newborn care, including thermoregulation and glucose management
Administration of blood and blood products
Management of drains, epidural pumps, PCA pumps, syringe pumps, wound vacs, heparin, insulin, and magnesium sulfate

Scheduling and Work Expectations

Floating may be required to NICU or L&D
Weekends are required to meet staffing needs
