Labor and Delivery Nurse

Overview

Travel/contract role in Colorado Springs, Colorado
Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–07:30
36 hours per week
Contract length: 13 weeks
First-time travelers are not accepted
Weekend work is required per unit needs
On-call is required per unit needs
May float to other units within the service line and may be required to float to a sister facility
Patient ratio: 1:2 for antepartum or postpartum, up to 4:1

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Colorado
Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure issued by American Heart Association
EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring
AWOHNN Intermediate
FHM
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience with Epic

Schedule / Time-Off Limits

Maximum of 10 requested time-off days approved
Time off is not allowed during these periods:
- September 2–12, 2026
- October 25–November 4, 2026
- November 22–December 2, 2026
- December 20, 2026–January 3, 2027

Additional Notes

Candidate must meet facility compliance, health screening, and onboarding requirements before start
A color vision screening using the Ishihara exam is required before start
