Description

Operating Room RN Travel Contract

Location

  • Ann Arbor, Michigan

Schedule

  • Day shift options: 7:00–19:00 or 11:00–23:00
  • 36 hours per week
  • Shift pattern may be a day/evening rotation or straight evenings
  • Call is required, including weeknight and weekend call
  • Float: none

Assignment Details

  • 13-week contract
  • Adult-focused Level 1 Trauma Center
  • General OR and Trauma experience required
  • First-time travelers accepted

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Michigan
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • 1 year of Operating Room experience
  • Operating Room experience within the last year
  • Trauma experience
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • Experience with Epic

Additional Requirements

  • Flu vaccination required during flu season with no exemptions
  • 2 supervisory references required at submission
  • Government-issued photo ID required
  • Background check required
  • Drug screen required
  • Fit test required
  • Physical exam required
  • Negative TB screening or chest X-ray required
  • Immunity or documentation required for measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella
  • Completion of facility onboarding and attestation documents required

Notes

  • Weekend call is scheduled in 8-hour blocks
  • Onsite pass/fail testing is required for EKG/medication competency in applicable units
