Description
Operating Room RN Travel Contract
Location
- Ann Arbor, Michigan
Schedule
- Day shift options: 7:00–19:00 or 11:00–23:00
- 36 hours per week
- Shift pattern may be a day/evening rotation or straight evenings
- Call is required, including weeknight and weekend call
- Float: none
Assignment Details
- 13-week contract
- Adult-focused Level 1 Trauma Center
- General OR and Trauma experience required
- First-time travelers accepted
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Michigan
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- 1 year of Operating Room experience
- Operating Room experience within the last year
- Trauma experience
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Experience with Epic
Additional Requirements
- Flu vaccination required during flu season with no exemptions
- 2 supervisory references required at submission
- Government-issued photo ID required
- Background check required
- Drug screen required
- Fit test required
- Physical exam required
- Negative TB screening or chest X-ray required
- Immunity or documentation required for measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella
- Completion of facility onboarding and attestation documents required
Notes
- Weekend call is scheduled in 8-hour blocks
- Onsite pass/fail testing is required for EKG/medication competency in applicable units
