Step Down RN Travel Contract

Overview

Specialty: Registered Nurse
Location: Memphis, Tennessee
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Start date: ASAP
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
Hours per week: 36
Patient ratio: 1:12 team nursing ratio
Unit type: Stepdown / Med Surg Overflow / Neuro

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Tennessee
Stepdown experience with 2 years of experience
Stepdown experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
Driver's License
Large Hospital experience

Schedule / Assignment Details

36 or 48-hour shifts
On-call as needed
Weekend coverage as needed
Block scheduling not guaranteed; weekend block may be considered
All requested time off must be submitted with the application
First-time travelers are not accepted
Local candidates are not accepted within a 100-mile radius
Pending license is not accepted

Additional Notes

Short-term acute care, Level I trauma center
Navy blue scrubs required for RNs
Two recent professional references are required
