Required qualifications

  • CST
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (2 years of experience)
  • Certified Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
  • 2 or more completed travel assignments
  • Ortho trauma experience with demonstrated competency level 4
  • Ortho total joint experience
  • State license verification, as applicable
  • Competency exam, as applicable to profession
  • Medication/pharmacology competency exam, as applicable to profession
  • Skills checklist
  • Employment application with licensure, certifications, education, and employment history
  • 2 professional references within 3 years of start
  • For candidates born in 1957 or later: proof of immunity or vaccination for measles, mumps, and rubella per stated documentation rules
  • Hepatitis B documentation
  • Varicella documentation
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
  • Physical exam within 1 year of start
  • Tdap vaccine or declination
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption/declination
  • Drug screen within 1 year of start
  • Photo for badge
  • Government-issued photo ID
  • Emergency contact form
  • COVID exemption request, if applicable
  • Tennessee abuse registry search within 30 days of start
  • Background checks, including facility-required FACIS Level 3
  • Monthly EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks
