Operating Room RN
Location
Pasadena, Texas
Job type
Travel, 36 hours per week
Contract length
13 weeks
Required qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience)
- OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
- ACLS
- BLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Orthopedics experience
- Urology experience
- OB/GYN experience
Preferred experience
- ENT experience
- Vascular experience
- Pediatric experience
Unit details
- Operating room with 10 beds
- 1:1 patient ratio
- Multi-specialty equipment
- Meditech converting to Expanse
Schedule
- On-call required, including weekly call and 1 weekend per month
Typical procedures
- Open, laparoscopic, and robotic general cases
- Robotic orthopedics
- Total knees and hips
- Trauma orthopedic cases
- Laparoscopic and robotic hysterectomies
- Tubal ligations
- Emergent interventions
