Valid RN license in Iowa
Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
Travel experience within the last 15 months
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
NRP
STABLE
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Driver's License
Experience with Epic

Preferred Experience

Nursery / Mother-Baby experience
Post Partum experience
NICU experience

Clinical Details

NBO: 16 hours
Unit includes maternity, nursery, NICU, C-section suite, and overflow rooms
Patient types include antepartum, mother-baby, newborn, OB/GYN, and NICU
Typical ratios: Labor 1:1, Postpartum 1:2, NICU 2:1
Delivery volume: 50–60 births per month
Level 2 maternal/neonatal center

Scheduling / Assignment Notes

Contractor is required to work 1–2 of 3 upcoming summer holidays unless the unit is closed
Orientation dates listed: 9/8, 9/14, 9/21
Local candidates are not accepted; candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility based on driver’s license
Past employees of the health system may be restricted from returning to travel roles under the stated separation policy
