Labor and Delivery RN

Overview

Travel/contract role in Pennsylvania
13-week assignment
Day shift: 3x12 hours, with start times of 7:00 AM or 11:00 AM
36 hours per week
No block scheduling
Every other weekend and holiday required
No call requirements
ASAP start

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Pennsylvania
Labor and Delivery (1 year of experience)
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NRP
EFM
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Post Partum experience

Government-issued photo ID
Emergency contact form before start
Background check within 1 year of start
EPLS/GSA/SAM screening annually
HHS/OIG screening annually
Physical exam within 1 year of start
Tetanus/diphtheria/Tdap within the last 10 years
Negative TB test or chest x-ray within 1 year of start
Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella immunity/documentation
Drug screening before start
Flu vaccination or declination during flu season
COVID vaccination card or declination
2 professional references within 3 years of start
Annual skills checklist
Pennsylvania child abuse search
Pennsylvania Department of Human Services fingerprint results
Pennsylvania PATCH search results

Notes

Electronic fetal monitoring is required for labor and delivery RNs
Meditech is the EMR used
