IMC Registered Nurse

Overview

Location: Columbia, South Carolina
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Night, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
Contract length: 13 weeks
Weekend requirement: 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule period
Holiday requirement: Must work 2 of the 3 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year’s Day

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in South Carolina
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Intermediate Care (2 years of experience)
Intermediate Care experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NIHSS
Experience with Epic

Key Job Details

Adult intermediate intensive care / intermediate medical step-down setting
Patient ratio: 1:3
Must be able to titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips
Staff may be required to float to other units or campuses as needed
First-time travelers are accepted

Additional Notes

Requests for time off, block scheduling, and special scheduling must be included with submission and are subject to facility approval
Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
EPIC experience is required
Pre-assignment testing and online orientation modules are required before start
