Job Overview

• Travel/contract role in New Orleans, Louisiana
• 13-week assignment
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 6:30 AM
• 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirement
• Float requirement: N/A
• Accepts first-time travelers

Required Qualifications

• Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Louisiana
• Respiratory Therapist (2 years of experience)
• Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

• NICU experience

• Background check required
• Government-issued photo ID required
• E-Verify required
• State license verification required within 30 days of start
• NURSYS verification required within 30 days of start
• TB screening and TB questionnaire required
• Tdap required within 10 years
• MMR immunity or vaccination documentation required
• Varicella immunity or vaccination documentation required
• Hepatitis B documentation required
• Drug screening required
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption required during flu season
• Employment application must include 7 years of work history with no gap greater than 30 days
• Skills checklist required within 12 months of start and updated annually
• Core Part I, II, and III required and updated annually
• Competency exams required within 12 months of start and updated annually
• Medication/pharmacology competency exam required within 12 months of start and updated annually
• Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam required within 12 months of start and updated annually
• Physical exam required within 12 months of start
• CPI may be completed onsite if not already certified and must be completed within 30 days of start
