Step Down RN
Job Overview
- Location: Portland, Oregon
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Shift: Day, 3x12 hours
- Hours per week: 36
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Floating: May float to other units based on skill set
- Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
- On-call: Not required
- Block scheduling: Not required
- 48 hours: Not approved
- Ratios: 1:3 and 1:4
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Oregon
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Stepdown (1 year of experience)
- Stepdown experience within the last year
- Driver's License
- Experience caring for tracheostomy and ventilator patients
- Experience with critical care drips and titrated infusions
Clinical Focus
- IMCU/Step Down care
- Not telemetry-only

- Short-term acute care hospital
- Teaching hospital
- 536 staffed beds

- Scrub color: Any color
- Parking: No fee
- Epic charting system used
- If floating consecutive shifts to Seaside, hotel may be offered at additional cost
