RN - ICU

Overview

Travel RN position in San Antonio, Texas
13-week assignment
36 hours per week
Shift options: 7:00 AM–7:30 PM or 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
Rotating weekends
No call required

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Texas
ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
ACLS
BLS
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Vasopressor management experience

Unit Details

ICU with 14 beds
Also supports a 20-bed Med/Surg area
Typical ratios: 1:2 in ICU and 1:5 in Med/Surg
Standard equipment
Critical care procedures

Scheduling and Work Expectations

Every other weekend is required
Attendance reliability is emphasized
Floating is as needed

Preferred

Meditech experience

Dress Code

Navy scrub top and pants
Navy or white scrub jacket
Clean, healthy nails
Hair must be neat and clean
Beards, mustaches, and sideburns must be neatly trimmed
Body art should be covered when possible
Visible piercings other than ears are not allowed
