Medical Surgical Nurse

Overview

• Travel/contract role in Galion, Ohio
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 36 hours per week
• Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Ohio
• Med Surg (2 years of experience)
• Med Surg experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Job Expectations

• Must be willing to float to all campuses
• Call required
• Every other weekend
• No holiday RTO will be approved for days during that week

Compliance / Onboarding

• 2 clinical references required
• Physical exam within 12 months of start
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months of start
• Tdap within 10 years of start or signed declination
• Drug screen within 30 days of start
• Fit mask testing required before start
• Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B documentation required
• Annual background check and annual updates for required health/compliance items
• Annual competency and onboarding documentation required
