Schedule

• Night shift
• 12-hour shifts
• 36 hours per week
• Must be agreeable to floating
• Primarily supports Med Surg
• Weekend work required as needed, including most weekends during the contract
• Block scheduling may be accommodated, but set schedules cannot be approved
• Must agree to an alternating 36/48-hour schedule
• Facility may consider straight 48-hour shifts

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Texas
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
• Travel experience required
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Med Surg experience
• Background check
• EPLS/GSA/SAM screening
• HHS/OIG screening
• NURSYS verification
• State license verification
• Competency exam
• Medication test/pharmacology competency exam
• 2 references within the last 3 years
• Resume/application
• Skills checklist

Additional Requirements

• Government-issued photo ID
• E-Verify or attestation
• Badge photo
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Tdap within 10 years of start
• Negative TB or chest X-ray
• Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella documentation
• Drug screen
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption
• Current COVID vaccination documentation
• Orientation safety manual acknowledgement
• Parking policy acknowledgment
• Annual background check renewal may be required
• Annual skills checklist update
