Respiratory Therapist, NICU
Job Overview
- Location: Richland, Washington
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Shift: Night or day, 3x12 hours
- Hours per week: 36
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Work Setting
- Float between units and departments as needed
- Must be able to work independently in a Level 3 NICU
- Must also have the skill and experience to work in a Level 2 regional trauma center
Schedule
- Weekends required every other weekend
- On-call not required
- Block schedules not required
- 48 hours not approved
Required Qualifications
- Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Washington
- Respiratory Therapist (1 year of experience)
- Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
- Certified Respiratory Therapy - NICU experience
Additional Notes
- Reduced non-billable orientation: 0 hours
- Assignment shift is typically confirmed 1 to 2 weeks in advance
- All staff are considered variable assignment for the unit
