Respiratory Therapist, NICU

Job Overview

  • Location: Richland, Washington
  • Employment type: Travel/Contract
  • Shift: Night or day, 3x12 hours
  • Hours per week: 36
  • Contract length: 13 weeks

Work Setting

  • Float between units and departments as needed
  • Must be able to work independently in a Level 3 NICU
  • Must also have the skill and experience to work in a Level 2 regional trauma center

Schedule

  • Weekends required every other weekend
  • On-call not required
  • Block schedules not required
  • 48 hours not approved

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Washington
  • Respiratory Therapist (1 year of experience)
  • Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
  • Certified Respiratory Therapy - NICU experience

Additional Notes

  • Reduced non-billable orientation: 0 hours
  • Assignment shift is typically confirmed 1 to 2 weeks in advance
  • All staff are considered variable assignment for the unit
