Job Overview

  • Contract role in Bozeman, Montana
  • Night shift
  • 36 hours per week
  • 13-week contract
  • Full-time equivalent: 0.9 FTE

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Montana
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • STABLE
  • NRP
  • Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
  • Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
  • Antepartum experience
  • PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience

Preferred Experience

  • Labor and delivery experience, including antepartum, intrapartum, preop, circulate, and PACU

Schedule Expectations

  • Regular and sustained attendance required
  • May require work beyond a standard 40-hour workweek
  • Weekend and after-hours shifts may be required
  • On-call work may be required

Clinical Responsibilities

  • Assess patient needs and initiate appropriate interventions
  • Plan and implement patient and family education
  • Provide care for patients with hyperacute and acute stroke
  • Complete required stroke education within the first year and annually thereafter

Work Environment

  • May involve lifting up to 50 pounds repeatedly
  • Includes exposure to bloodborne pathogens, infectious diseases, chemicals, medications, radiation, and emotionally challenging situations
