RN Neuro
Location
- New Albany, Indiana
Schedule
- 1st shift, 6:30a–7p
- 36 hours per week
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Indiana
- Neuro PCU - Progressive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
- Neuro PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
- BLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Neurology experience
Role Summary
- Provides direct patient care on the unit, including assessments, treatments, admissions, transfers, discharges, patient and family education, and care coordination
- Performs comprehensive nursing assessments, documents findings, and responds to changes in patient condition
- Administers medications, performs procedures such as wound care and IV therapy, and uses medical equipment and technology
- Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams and supports unit-based quality improvement activities
