Unit Details

Labor and Delivery unit
13 beds plus 3 triage beds
Patient ratios follow AWHONN guidelines: 1:1 for labor and recovery; 2 Cytotec or Cervidil patients

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Kansas
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
BLS
ACLS
AWHONN
NRP

Preferred Experience

OR circulation for C-section
Catching newborns
Antepartum experience

Responsibilities / Procedures

Vaginal deliveries
C-sections

Schedule

Rotating weekends
No call

Floating

Mother Baby
Women’s Surgery
