Description

Endoscopy Registered Nurse Travel Contract

Location

  • Kingsport, Tennessee

Schedule

  • Day shift, 4x10 hours
  • 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Every other weekend
  • Call required

Contract Length

  • 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Tennessee
  • Endoscopy (2 years of experience)
  • Endoscopy experience within the last year
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
  • BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Experience in a(n) Inpatient setting
  • Experience in a(n) Outpatient setting

Additional Notes

  • Accepts first-time travelers
  • 16 hours of nonbillable orientation
  • General orientation begins on Sundays
  • Candidate may start on any Sunday if compliance documents are completed by the deadline
  • Expected to participate in nursing student support and clinical education
  • Hospital may cancel or call off one shift biweekly without financial penalty if census decreases
  • Additional shifts above the work commitment may be flexed as needed for census or resource changes without penalty
