ER Nurse

Overview

  • Travel/contract role in High Point, North Carolina
  • Night shift: 3x12s, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
  • 36 hours per week
  • 13-week contract
  • Every other weekend required
  • Holidays as needed
  • Float required to a sister ED and between campuses if needed
  • First-time travelers accepted
  • Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:4

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in North Carolina
  • ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
  • ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • PALS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • NIHSS
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Experience working with Adult patients
  • Experience working with Pediatric patients
  • Driver's License
  • Pediatrics ER - Emergency Room experience
  • Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

  • TNCC certification
  • Charge RN experience
  • Cerner familiarity

  • Candidates must complete required onboarding, health screening, background check, references, and work history verification before start
  • Badge photo and government-issued photo ID are required for clearance
