Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Kentucky
Registered Respiratory Therapist (1 year of experience)
Registered Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
BLS
PALS
NRP
Associate's degree in respiratory care

Job Responsibilities

Provides respiratory care procedures including aerosol therapy, oxygen therapy, percussion and postural drainage, noninvasive ventilation, mechanical ventilation, CPR, bedside pulmonary function screening, and arterial blood gases
Manages and assesses patients on mechanical and non-invasive ventilation
Performs patient care procedures and medication administration, including oxygen, aerosol medications, humidification, suctioning, and chest physiotherapy
Obtains, processes, and reports arterial blood gases without direct supervision
Documents and enters orders in EPIC
Maintains and troubleshoots respiratory care equipment
Supports department operations, quality improvement, education, and customer service activities
