Job Overview

Location: Round Rock, Texas
Employment type: Travel
Shift: 1:00 PM - 1:00 AM
Hours per week: 36
Contract length: 13 weeks
Call: No call required
Weekends: Rotating

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Texas
ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
ACLS
BLS
PALS
TNCC
CPI
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred

Meditech experience
Trauma experience
Holding inpatient experience
CPI

Unit Details

Emergency department with 48 private rooms, 27 hallway stretchers, 9 fast track spaces, and 5 behavioral health spaces
Patient ratios: 1:4 in ED, 1:5 in behavioral health, 1:3 cardiac/trauma
Common equipment includes Alaris pumps, Belmont and Level 1 rapid infusers, and Stryker stretchers

Work Environment

Team-oriented, multitasking, and self-starting environment
Typical duties include splinting, EKGs, central monitoring, trauma assists, central lines, airway support, behavioral health de-escalation, Morgan lens use, rapid infuser use, and resuscitation

Dress Code

Navy blue scrubs for RNs
