Medical Surgical Registered Nurse
Job Overview
- Location: Stillwater, Oklahoma
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Night, 3x12 hours, 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
- Hours per week: 36
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Oklahoma
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- 2 years of Med Surg experience
- Med Surg experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Experience with Meditech
- 2 professional references from within the last 3 years
- Government-issued photo ID
- E-Verify or attestation
- Background check completed before start
- EPLS/GSA/SAM clearance
- HHS/OIG clearance
- Employment application
- Skills checklist
Preferred Qualifications
- Pediatric experience
Job Responsibilities
- Float to all Med-Surg floors
Pre-Start Health and Compliance Requirements
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Tdap within 10 years of start
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within the required timeframe
- TB questionnaire
- Measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella immunity or vaccination documentation
- Hepatitis B documentation or declination
- Drug screen within 1 year of start
- COVID vaccination or declination form
- Flu vaccination documentation or declination form
- Orientation and facility-specific acknowledgments and modules before start
