Job Overview

  • Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Colorado
  • Post Partum (1 year of experience)
  • Post Partum experience within the last year
  • One completed travel assignment
  • BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
  • NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure issued by American Heart Association
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Antepartum experience
  • Labor and Delivery experience

Schedule / Assignment Details

  • Call required per unit needs
  • Weekend work required per unit needs
  • Floating required within scope; may float to L&D with fetal monitoring experience
  • Typical ratio: 1:3 couplets, up to 6 patients
  • Unit has 32 beds

Clinical Setting

  • Postpartum care for patients who do not need ICU-level care
  • Newborn care for patients who do not need NICU-level care
  • High-risk patient population
  • Antepartum patients with fetal monitoring experience
  • Late preterm infants
  • Substance-exposed newborns
  • Phototherapy
  • Magnesium, insulin, and heparin drips
  • PCA and PCEA pumps
  • Breastfeeding support

Compliance / Onboarding Notes

  • Up to 10 RTO days approved
  • RTO not allowed during:
    • September 2–12, 2026
    • October 25–November 4, 2026
    • November 22–December 2, 2026
    • December 20, 2026–January 3, 2027
  • Blue navy scrubs
  • Epic charting
  • Driver’s license or state ID required
  • E-Verify or attestation required
  • Proof of name change required if applicable
  • Background check required
  • Education verification required
  • Physical exam required
  • Fit test required
  • Tdap required or declination
  • TB screening required
  • Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, varicella, drug testing, and COVID documentation required
