Job Overview
- Travel RN position in a progressive care unit
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Hours per week: 36
- Location: Derry, New Hampshire
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New Hampshire
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
- ACLS
- BLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience in a(n) Hospital setting
- Strong dysrhythmia recognition skills
- Critical drip experience
Unit Details
- Progressive care unit with 20 beds
- Patient ratio: 4:1
- Uses cardiac monitoring and IV pumps
Schedule
- Every other weekend, or equivalent if staffing needs require it
Preferred Experience
- Strong dysrhythmia recognition skills
- Critical drip experience
- PCU experience
- Pre- and post-cardiac cath and pacer patient care experience
- Prior HCA experience
Floating
- May float to Med Surg, ICU for border patients, and the Emergency Department for ED holds
Work Environment
- Professional attire; no required scrub color
- Self-directed, confident, positive, strong communication skills, and team-oriented
