RN - Dialysis
Job Overview
- Travel RN position in Tuscaloosa, Alabama
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Hours: 36 or 48 per week
- Patient-facing role
- Not a remote position
Schedule / Work Expectations
- Holidays as required
- Every other weekend
- Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals
Required Qualifications
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Valid RN license in Alabama
- Dialysis (2 years of experience)
- Dialysis experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or Red Cross issued by American Red Cross
- NURSYS
- Must be able to read, write legibly, speak, and comprehend English
Preferred
- Professional Nursing Certification
Clinical Setting
- Dialysis unit
- Nurses prepare and perform dialysis treatments
- Uses Fresenius machines and Gambro as needed
- Training provided if not familiar with Fresenius or Gambro
- Bedside and peritoneal dialysis performed
