Emergency Department Registered Nurse

Job Overview

Contract role in St Johnsbury, Vermont
Night shift: three 12-hour shifts per week, 7 pm–7 am
Must be able to cover mid-shifts as needed
Fast-paced emergency department setting with a busy rural critical access hospital
Credentialing must be completed and uploaded at least five business days before start date

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Vermont
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
ED - Emergency Department (3 years of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
BLS
ACLS

Preferred Qualifications

TNCC

Clinical Setting

Emergency department with 9 beds
Approximately 15,000 patient visits per year
Rural location with no public transportation nearby
Closest airport is about 2 hours away

Additional Notes

Familiarity with Meditech is required, or the ability to learn it quickly
Travelers start on Wednesdays
During orientation week, a 48-hour contract is guaranteed 36 hours due to the midweek start
