Infusion RN

Job Overview

Travel/contract RN role in Clinton, Maryland
Day shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Contract length: 13 weeks
Patient ratio: 1:5
Scrub color: Navy blue
Traveler radius: 60 miles

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Maryland
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Infusion (2 years of experience)
Infusion experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Driver's License
Experience with peripheral access
Experience in outpatient oncology
Experience with active immunotherapy
Knowledge of management and disposal of cytotoxic spills
Experience accessing and managing ports
Experience administering blood products
Experience with central line blood draws
Experience with Cerner

Preferred Qualifications

ACLS certification
Chemo certification (ONS/ONCC)

Clinical Skills / Experience

Peripheral access
Outpatient oncology
Active immunotherapy
Recognizing and managing side effects
Managing and disposing of cytotoxic spills
Recognizing abnormal lab values
Accessing and managing ports
Blood product administration
Care and management of ports
Central line blood draws
IV insertion
