Registered Nurse – Ortho

Overview

  • Travel/contract role in Burlington, North Carolina
  • 13-week assignment
  • Night shift: 3x12s, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
  • Every other weekend required
  • No call
  • Float as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in North Carolina
  • Med Surg / Telemetry (1 year of experience)
  • Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
  • One completed travel assignment
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Experience in Charge roles
  • Driver's License
  • Orthopedics experience
  • Experience with Epic

Unit Details

  • 29-bed unit serving adult through geriatric orthopedic and medical-surgical patients
  • Telemetry monitoring available
  • High-volume cases include total joint replacements, fracture repairs, and kyphoplasties
  • Also cares for surgical, inpatient, and 24-hour observation medical patients

Additional Notes

  • RNs may be asked to work Charge RN shifts as needed
  • Physical therapy gym is available on the unit
