Registered Nurse – Ortho

Overview

Travel/contract role in Burlington, North Carolina
13-week assignment
Night shift: 3x12s, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
Every other weekend required
No call
Float as needed

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Carolina
Med Surg / Telemetry (1 year of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience in Charge roles
Driver's License
Orthopedics experience
Experience with Epic

Unit Details

29-bed unit serving adult through geriatric orthopedic and medical-surgical patients
Telemetry monitoring available
High-volume cases include total joint replacements, fracture repairs, and kyphoplasties
Also cares for surgical, inpatient, and 24-hour observation medical patients

Additional Notes

RNs may be asked to work Charge RN shifts as needed
Physical therapy gym is available on the unit
