Ultrasound Tech - General

Job Overview

Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
Location: Mount Airy, North Carolina
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Contract length: 13 weeks
Schedule: Day shift, Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week
Additional scheduling expectations: Rotating holiday coverage and rotational back-up call

Required Qualifications

Ultrasound Technologist with 1 year of experience
Ultrasound Technologist experience within the last year
ARDMS (AB)
BLS issued by American Heart Association
Vascular Sonographer experience
Ob/Gyn Sonographer experience
Breast Sonographer experience

Preferred Qualifications

ARDMS (OB/GYN)
RDCS-RVT
Breast imaging experience

Government-issued photo ID
E-Verify or attestation
Background check
EPLS/GSA/SAM check
HHS/OIG check
Primary source verification of state license
Unit-specific competency exam
Unit-specific skills checklist
2 professional references
Resume/application
Physical exam within 1 year of start
Fit test with 3M 1860 mask within 12 months of start
Tdap within 10 years of start
Negative TB test or chest X-ray
Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B immunity or documentation
Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days prior to start
Flu vaccination or approved exemption during flu season
COVID vaccination information if vaccinated
Completion of required pre-start forms and orientation materials
