RN - Cardiac Cath Lab
Job Overview
- Location: Houston, Texas
- Employment type: Travel
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Hours per week: 36
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- Cardiac Cath Lab (1 year of experience)
- Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
- BLS
- ACLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Pre/Post Cath Lab experience
Preferred Experience
- Electrophysiology experience
Unit Details
- Cardiac cath lab with 3 procedure rooms
- Team-based care with 3 staff members per patient procedure
- Floating may include the pre/post cath department
Common Procedures
- Left and right heart caths
- Pacemaker/ICD and Watchman procedures
- IR procedures
- Vascular procedures
- EP ablations (PFA)
Schedule
- One full weekend plus 2 weekdays per four-week schedule, for a total of 10 shifts
Work Environment
- Uses Phillips and Siemens fluoroscopy equipment
- Team-oriented and flexible candidate preferred
