RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Overview

Location: Houston, Texas
Employment type: Travel
Contract length: 13 weeks
Hours per week: 36

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Texas
Cardiac Cath Lab (1 year of experience)
Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
BLS
ACLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Pre/Post Cath Lab experience

Preferred Experience

Electrophysiology experience

Unit Details

Cardiac cath lab with 3 procedure rooms
Team-based care with 3 staff members per patient procedure
Floating may include the pre/post cath department

Common Procedures

Left and right heart caths
Pacemaker/ICD and Watchman procedures
IR procedures
Vascular procedures
EP ablations (PFA)

Schedule

One full weekend plus 2 weekdays per four-week schedule, for a total of 10 shifts

Work Environment

Uses Phillips and Siemens fluoroscopy equipment
Team-oriented and flexible candidate preferred
