PCU Registered Nurse

Job Overview

Travel/contract RN position in Greensboro, North Carolina
Night shift, 3x12s, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
36 hours per week
13-week contract
Floating may be required between campuses
Weekend coverage is expected on a rotating basis

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Carolina
PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Driver's License
Ability to manage TR Bands
Central line management
PICC line management
CVP monitoring
Experience with Epic

Clinical Focus

Cardiac patient population, including acute coronary syndrome, chest pain, STEMI, NSTEMI, arrhythmias, syncope, atrial fibrillation, Tikosyn loading, heart failure, and post-cardiac cath care
May also care for overflow progressive care patients

Additional Notes

Uses Epic
May be expected to work with rapid response teams and manage central lines, PICC lines, TR bands, and CVP monitoring
