Neuro ICU RN Travel Contract

Overview

Location: Dallas, Texas
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Specialty: Neuro ICU
Shift: Night, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
Contract length: 13 weeks
Hours: 36 per week
Work expectations: Weekends, floating, and holidays may be required

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Texas
Neuro ICU (1 year of experience)
Neuro ICU experience within the last year
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience with Epic

Required Certifications / Exams

BLS
NIH Stroke Certification
Pass/Fail testing for medication and EKG/dysrhythmia competency
Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam
Medication test/pharmacology competency exam

Required Documents / Compliance

Government-issued photo ID or passport
E-Verify or attestation
Background check
EPLS/GSA/SAM check
HHS/OIG check
Photo for badge
Signed job description
Non-employee internet access form
NESF form
Hepatitis B declination form if applicable
Flu exemption form if applicable

Health Requirements

Physical exam within 12 months of start
Fit test during orientation
Tdap
Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months of start
MMR immunity or documentation of 2 MMR vaccines
Hepatitis B immunity, vaccination series, or declination
Varicella immunity or documentation of 2 varicella vaccines
10-panel drug test within 30 days of start
Flu vaccination or approved exemption during flu season

Notes

Local rate applies within 90 miles
A valid photo ID name must match the candidate’s documentation
Passport may be used instead of driver’s license or state ID
The medication and EKG/dysrhythmia exams allow two attempts
