Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New Hampshire
PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year
1 year of PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience
BLS
ACLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Clinical Responsibilities

Provide professional nursing care in an assigned hospital unit
Complete unit-specific competencies for critically ill patients
Participate in quality improvement activities
Complete clinical documentation and care plans in a timely manner
Communicate patient information during handoffs, walking rounds, and provider interactions
Maintain patient, visitor, and staff safety by following established procedures and protocols
Complete hourly rounding with LNAs
Assist with patient safety issue identification and correction
Collaborate with nursing staff across units and shifts
Delegate care and unit activities to other nursing personnel
Support planning, supervision, and instruction of nurses and assistants
Work with nursing students and instructors
Participate in peer review and DNV survey readiness

Procedural / Unit-Specific Skills

Assist with insertion of Flow wire, Opsens, and IVUS
Demonstrate contraindications and reversal for IV adenosine infusion
Safely administer procedural sedation
Complete annual sedation examination
Document sedation according to policy

Additional Notes

Up to 16 hours of orientation is unpaid
The facility may cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract
