Emergency Room Registered Nurse

Location

Lafayette, Louisiana

Contract

Travel/contract assignment
13 weeks
Day shift: 3x12s, 10:45 AM–11:15 PM
36 hours per week
Every other weekend
Floating to other floors may be required
Block scheduling is not accommodated

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Louisiana
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
2 years of experience in Emergency Department specialty
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
Experience with Epic
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course
CPI - Crisis Prevention Institute

May be assigned to an emergency team during an emergency event and may be expected to remain at the facility or serve on the relief team until the event passes
