Outpatient Clinic RN

Overview

• Travel/contract role in Portland, Oregon
• Day shift: 5x8 hours, 8:00–17:00
• 40 hours per week
• Contract length: 13 weeks

Setting

• Primary care Family Medicine clinic and Federally Qualified Health Center
• Serves patients across the lifespan
• Care is primarily telephone triage and advice, with in-clinic or telephonic response to urgent patient needs
• Visit types include in-person, virtual, and telephone

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Oregon
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• 2 years of clinic experience within the last year
• Experience working in Primary Care or a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC)
• Telephone triaging experience
• Ambulatory Care experience
• Family Medicine experience
• Experience with Epic

Responsibilities

• Telephone triage and advice
• Respond to urgent patient needs in clinic or by phone
• Support wellness and prevention care
• Manage minor injuries, common illnesses, chronic conditions, behavioral care, reproductive health, transgender health care, prenatal/post-partum care, pediatric care, and medication-assisted treatment

Compliance / Onboarding

• Must provide a valid government-issued photo ID on the first day for badge issuance
• Must complete background screening and related verification steps before start
• Must complete required health screening and immunization documentation before start
• Must review and sign required facility documents before start
