Description
ICU RN
Overview
- Travel/contract role in Florence, South Carolina
- 13-week assignment
- Night shift: 3x12s, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
- Every other weekend required
- Patient ratio: 1:4
- Floating within scope is required
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in South Carolina
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Stepdown experience
Preferred Qualifications
- NIHSS
Schedule Notes
- Holiday rotation
- Block scheduling may be requested before assignment, but is not guaranteed
- On-call is not required
Additional Notes
- First-time travelers are accepted if they have prior ICU and/or Stepdown experience
- Local candidates are not accepted within 60 miles
- All requested time off must be submitted at time of application and is subject to facility needs
- Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
Compliance / Pre-Start Items
- Proof of 2 clinical references
- Performance evaluation dated within 12 months of start
- Annual background check covering all locations lived/worked for the past 7 years
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 30 days of start
- Physical exam
- Tdap within 10 years of start or declination
- TB screening: 2-step PPD or Quantiferon Gold within 90 days of the contract date; T-spot not permitted
- Hepatitis B titer or vaccine
- Measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella immunity documentation
- 10-panel drug screen within 90 days of start
- COVID vaccination documentation or declination
- Flu vaccination documentation or exemption during flu season
- Respirator clearance for patient-facing travelers
- South Carolina state exclusion list
- Copy of driver’s license or state ID
- Copy of Social Security card
- E-Verify attestation
- Signed assignment and confidentiality documents
- Badge photo
- Orientation modules and facility onboarding documents before start
